How can I participate?

Anyone with an interest can participate in the mailing lists and download the source code and project documents. To initiate a more formal participation you can alert us of your interest via an email message to Frank Lind. Let us know why you are interested, how you would like to be involved, and what kinds of things you might be able to contribute.

The site itself is now built around a [WikiWikiWeb] which allows participatory editing of the site contents. We have limited this ability to certain sections using access control lists. If you have a project you would like hosted on Open Radar just contact us and request a project page. We can then setup the appropriate page and enable a single user or group of users to have editing permission.

Of particular interest is the ability of the [WWW] MoinMoin Wiki to handle multiple languages. This opens translations of site sections as a very useful area of participation.

What are the licensing terms for the hardware and software?

The official licenses are being worked out. It is very likely that the GNU GPL will be used for software. The hardware license will probably be free for non-commercial use while allowing the contributing party to retain rights for commercial production.
